You can help make our vision a reality!

Since our Founding we have given over $1M to organizations serving at the frontlines of our LGBTQ+ movement. But every year we receive more proposals than we can fund. By our 30th Anniversary in 2023, our vision is to fully fund every qualified proposal received from Greater Philadelphia LGBTQ+ serving organizations!

Your support can help us make this vision a reality!

Ways to Give 
​

  • Make a recurring gift! monthly recurring gift helps to ensure DVLF’s financial and operational stability so that we can focus on meeting our critical mission.
     

  • Give a one time gift to support DVLF’s work. No gift is too small, but every gift has an impact.
     

  • Make a gift and ask your employer to match it. Employee matching fits offer are dollar-for-dollar, but some companies will give double or even triple the original donation.
     

  • Donate appreciated stocks and securities. It’s often a smart tax-advantaged way to make a real impact through your giving. Contact us to learn more.
     

  • Make a bequest or other form of estate gift to support our community and you’re enrolled in our Legacy Society.
     

  • Support DVLF through your workplace campaign. We participate in United Way; City of Philadelphia Combined Campaign (25-0000): University of Pennsylvania, Penn’s Way (C0600); Drexel University’s Dragon Drive (10676).
     

  • Host a fundraiser. Gather your friends and colleagues and host a party or fundraiser to support the work of DVLF. Every year, our generous supporters host dinners, happy hours, house parties, runs/walks, and workplace fundraisers. This is a great way to raise funds and friends to support our work!
     

  • Sponsor one of our two signature events. Our beloved TOY event held every December raises money for DVLF and provides holiday toys to children in our region. Our popular Heroes event is held every spring, and honors Heroes in our community who advance the rights of the LGBTQ+ community
     

  • Shop to Support. DVLF participates in AmazonSmile. They offer the same products, prices and service as Amazon (including Prime), but with an added bonus to your charity of choice. Buying through AmazonSmile guarantees that 0.5% of your eligible purchase total is automatically donated to DVLF. On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you will be prompted to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. Simply select “Delaware Valley Legacy Fund”. They will remember your selection, and every eligible purchase you make will result in a donation.
