DVLF Legacy Planning Series

NEW DVLF Intro to Giving graphic. png (1).png

The DVLF Board of Directors created the LGBTQ+ Legacy Planning Series as an ongoing free program to educate members of the community with culturally competent, unbiased training about estate, life, financial, and philanthropic planning. The programs are intentionally designed to focus on ethical practices that also do not sell the attendees on any service or product. Rather, the emphasis is for the program to emphasize how, why, and what to do as an individual or household with one’s own important documents and planning.

The programs are developed with the advice and counsel from knowledgeable attorneys, trusted financial advisers, and seasoned philanthropic leaders. Our panelists inspire, educate, and demystify processes for, but not limited to, the following actions:

•Writing a will

•Handling life planning documents

•Making financial investment decisions

•Choosing a vehicle for their charitable wishes

While these programs are indeed available for everyone to participate, the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund’s Board of Directors wants to celebrate and elevate accessible, useful programs that uniquely speak to members of the region’s LGBTQ communities.
